About Us

We all have a pesky, self-critical voice that's a real jerk. AKA, the "How to Hate Yourself" voice. Left in the dark, it's super scary. But dragged into the light, it's pretty hilarious. Laura House (comedian and meditation teacher) talks to guests about their "How to Hate Yourself" voice. So we can all laugh at it. Part 2 is "How to (not) Hate Yourself" where we focus on solutions. I'll even teach meditation and you can meditate right along with me. Come for the convo, stay for the meditation. Or the opposite. Whatever you need. "How to Hate Yourself" is also a monthly stand-up show at the Hollywood Improv. And you'll often hear clips from the live show.*This is a rebrand of "Meditate with Laura House." We still do that, plus other good stuff.
