"Let me tell you a quick story..." Click the play button to listen to this story. I was a truck driver, it was Thanksgiving day in 2013 when I was left sitting and not getting home. I was driving over the road for a trucking company and was getting home for 2 days every 2 weeks I was left hanging in Lynchburg Va. being told that I would have a load to get me home in time for Thanksgiving dinner by 3 pm. However, someone forgot to tell the company that I was going to be there Thanksgiving morning and they were closed. "Then something happened that changed my life forever..." When I was left sitting and forgotten nobody cared. They promised me they would get me home. I began to research on the internet some statistics on drowning. Special Episode of Our First Members Group Call – Welcome

I want to thank everyone that had the opportunity to attend the live group call that we had this past Tuesday night November 19th at 9 pm EST. We had 27 people on the group call and received 20 emails from others that were not able to attend. I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn about our platform, our vision and what I feel is the largest value add that we can bring and that is our testing of content through our sponsored posts to drive traffic to bring the cost per click PPC down to be effective. Graphic #1 Our Vision as it is shown in this graphic above shows that our goal is to save 185,000 lives from fatal drowning and over 1 Million lives from nonfatal drowning by June 15th, 2029. In order to accomplish that we'll need to reach a minimum of 100 million people, this is built on the Know, Like and Trust factor. You can see this in the graphic. I go over our vision in much more detail and much much more... We are offering a BETA test group at all levels. I also go over that in the call so click above to listen to that in more detail I go over some data on an ad set campaign that I had been running for the past couple of days at the time of the call. This is important because we'll be testing a lot of different stories that we have covered and more stories to come that will allow us to match that with your message and test those against a targeted audience. Plus educational messages along with information all to help get water safety and drowning prevention awareness out to those who need to know what you have to say or how you provide a solution to a particular problem that was covered in the content. The main focus here is to keep the cost down while reaching that largest audience possible while driving traffic for the result that you are looking for. We'll be sharing these tests with our members on future calls and in the member's area along with our private Facebook group. Take a look at the graphic 2 and 3 #2 #3 Our next group call will be December 17th at 9 PM EST, so make sure to join our Kelsey Kode or subscribe to our podcast to get notified of that date and time along with the call-in or login info. Here are the links to join our member's area and also my calendar if you would like to jump on a call to talk about our BETA test group, and get in on the ground floor. EP064 Infant Drowns After Falling Out of a Canoe Caught In Strainer

Photo courtesy of ABC 22 and Fox 45 Dayton Ohio In today's episode, I'm talking about an accident that took place in a river just down the road from my home. You read the title right and I'm sure you're asking the same questions I asked when I first had this come across my newsfeed as it was taking place. Before everyone rushes to judgment, let me say this. I was a parent who lost a child to drowning when she was 3 just 8 feet in front of a lifeguard. While both are very different but as a parent who has lost a child to drowning it's what we don't know "That is where we start". Drowning doesn't discriminate and it doesn't care what you know or what you don't know. With that being said Layers of protection in pools and open bodies of water and that includes rivers have to be in place. Know your risks and wear a life jacket that's age-appropriate. I was a parent that said after his daughter drowned why I didn't know these things. Just as this mother and family didn't know. Yes, there ...
