Latest Episodes

Garrett Gerloff is more exciting than Marc Marquez - Thailand '19 | Ep. 125

We're back and not much has changed since we last recorded. The 2019 MotoGP championship is sealed with Marquez finishing in front of Dovisiozo. Fabio Quatararo almost won that race just like Kev almost didn't mini-rant this episode. But the real meat and potatoes of this podcast is two points:1. What's more exciting - good races and a boring championship OR bland races and an exciting championship?2. Garrett Gerloff is going to race in WorldSBKKyle Wyman joins us and bring a lot of insight about some of the racers, especially Gerloff. Of course we talk about the past and future of MotoAmerica with another American going to the world stage. Some of us have high hopes for him and that GRT Yamaha team.

Marquez Did The Thing, BGP Really Tries - Brno '19 | Ep. 123

MotoGP is back from the summer break and Marc Marquez did the thing in Brno. Ya - the weather was tricky. Ya - Zarco put it on the front row. Ya - Cal was mean to Taka. Ya - Rins got mad. And all that made for the most exciting race in history! (sarcasm). Is Maverick Vinales Back? and Yamaha? - Assen '19 | Ep. 122

Is Maverick Vinales back? Is Yamaha back? They won at Assen again. Sorry, BrotoGP is going with a bit fat "nope". He might show well at Sachsenring, but don't expect regular podiums or wins from him for most of the 2nd half of the season.MotoE is HERE! We spend quite a bit of time giving you a little preview of what to expect, what's different, and how we think it will go. Kev thinks that one of MotoE biggest fake issues right now might be there largest strength - a lack of noise. Check it out.KTM and Zarco's woes get a bit more air time. Ya Zarco gave up during the race at Assen, pulling in "before things got dangerous". Kev blames KTM, not Zarco for that one.#dutchtt #vinaleswinsagain #rossicrashVisit https://shop.brotogp.com for BGP SwagVisit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Jorge Lorenzo Isn't Your Antihero - Catalunya '19 | Ep. 121

BrotoGP does record when Marc Marquez wins! MotoGP was back at one of my favorite tracks - Catalunya - but Jorge Lorenzo ruined most of the race. Kev lays out how you might be feeling about him losing ground on becoming our antihero. Jorge, you could have been Deadpool! After that, we jump into Fabio Quartararo vs Casey Stoner. I'll say it right now, Fabio is looking better than Stoner right now. We cover their rookie years and talk about LCR vs Petronas SRT. Gotta love that oil money.Lastly, we go over the historic Dutch TT and why Kev thinks they should still race on Saturday.#jorgelorenzocrash #fabiovscasey #motogpVisit https://shop.brotogp.com for BGP SwagVisit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Jorge Lorenzo Isn't Your Antihero - Catalunya '19 | Ep. 121

Petrucci, Ducati, and Life-Long Dreams - Mugello 2019 | Ep. 120

We start this one off with a topic you might not expect... Jorge Lorenzo. Jorge Lorenzo isn't exactly setting the grid on fire with his performances on the RC213V. It might be considered the best bike in MotoGP, but he simply cannot ride it well enough. But that doesn't mean Jorge is going to be dropped from the team (early).Mugello was the culmination of a life's work for Danilo Petrucci and it showed on his face in parc ferme. A win on your home soil, in front of all those fans, against the best-of-the-best, with 0 asterisks has got to feel amazing. Did you know he almost quit GP entirely... twice? Danilo is a beast and we are so lucky to get to see this moment.Andrea Dovizioso was given a lot of credit for Petrucci's win - by Petrucci himself. And its odd in the hyper-competitive environment of MotoGP to HELP your teammate beat you. But it happened. So we have to wonder why. Is Dovizioso training his teammate in an effort to beat Marquez for the title? Someone needs to finish bet...

New Rivalries Heat Up at Le Mans 2019 - Ep. 119

There were a trio of Ducati's near the front of Le Mans and two of them are building a massive rivalry for that factory seat - Petrucci and Miller. This race goes to Petrux. But we'll be keeping an eye on both of them, on and off-track. Kev shares an amazing story about pizza. Then we dive into the surprise of Fabio and the disappointment of Mav, building our own rivalry for them. We jump into some cognitive dissonance to make unsurprising wins a little more exciting. Then we finish this one off with all the drama and surprise surrounding KTM, Pol, and Zarco. Oh, and we talk about hype, spoilers, and the announcers - good and bad.

Fabio’s Fantastic Front-row Finds Flummoxing Finish - Ep. 118

GP made it back to Europe for the Jerez round. Classically, this means the factory teams and the championship contenders start gapping the rest of the field... but that isn't exactly what happened. Marquez still did his thing after HRC convinced him the COTA crash was the bike's fault. But we had plenty of surprises from Quartararo, Morbidelli, and Vinales. And there were a few "1-star reviews" on top of that with disappointments from Jorge, Dovisiozo, and even Rossi. On top of that, KTM and Zarco are making plenty of headlines for the wrong reasons. Musings about WorldSBK, Alex Marquez, and Cats - Ep. 117

WorldSBK is at a crossroads right now. Bautista is winning everything (literally) and bringing more eyes to the series. But if he keeps doing it, will they stay? Rea and Kawi may fight back, but that arms race is going to leave other factories behind. Kev has a solution, but its probably not what you think. We spend some time talking about Moto2 talent as well. Tom Luthi is showing he's the true Gatekeeper in Moto2, Schrotter has upgraded to Journeyman, Baldassarri is true talent, and the rest... well you'll see. You just might root for Alex Marquez after this one.Oh, and of course we talk about cats. And birds. Rins 'Rins' at COTA, Marquez Crashes - Ep. 116

MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas gave all the fans plenty of surprises. Rins' talent and Suzuki's development have been confirmed with their first win together, Suzuki's first since Vinales left the team. America fans were able to see Rossi back on the box. And Jack Miller showed us that he can ride the Pramac Ducati in the dry like the best Pramac riders before him - with a few extra f-bombs.But that's not all. Marquez may have showed us that if he doesn't practice crashing (in practice), he may not be able to accomplish those amazing saves during a race. Honda shit the bed with one of their worst weekends in recent memory. Kev has words for the announcers over Iannone's crash and their coverage. And of course, we gotta talk a little about jump starts. There was no time for Moto2, Moto3, or WSBK in this one. So catch us soon, before GP at Jerez, for more coverage of those races.

Ducati: If You're Not Cheating, You're Not Trying - Ep. 115

There are two GP riders that have figured out Qatar: Marquez and Dovizioso. But one of them has the most patience and the best drive. The race was phenomenal for all the tactics and the battles between a large group with some unexpected riders. We expected the group, but who knew that Rins, Cal, and Mir would be there, everything considered. Rossi and Jorge's performances are applauded as well, though maybe for different reasons than you might think.Of course, that wasn't the biggest story all weekend. Ducati came out swinging at Qatar with innovations that are pushing the limit in MotoGP. The other factories (except Yamaha) have already protested their implementation of a rear tire cooling device. And we love all the drama! We round this one out talking about rookies. Kev is pioneering the Fabio train. Olivera gets a mention because of some surprises on the KTM. And the rest left us a little disappointed, at least for Round 1.
