Adrian Mitchell has been at the forefront of radical and pacifist politics since the 1960s; he has been described as the ghost-writer to the nation’s conscience, the godfather of contemporary poetry and the Shadow Poet Laureate. (Part of this interview appears on paper in Tripod Magazine Issue 3, available from November 2007 in and around Leicester, Nottingham and Derby.)
