About Us

"Don’t Wait ‘Til Pigs Fly", with host Nancy Becher, is the rallying call for entrepreneurs who are serious about growing their businesses, but don’t want to go it alone. Too often not knowing what steps to take, or what decisions to make, holds the business owner from moving ahead. You know you want to share your passion with the world. You Want To Be Your Own Boss and have the money to do the things you dream of doing. But there’s the Fear Factor. Where do you turn? Who do you ask? The purpose of my weekly show is to fill the void. I, and my guests, will provide suggestions, strategies and processes designed to grow revenue in your business. I am here to answer your questions, provide you with guidance and support. When you take action now and don’t wait 'til pigs fly, your business will soar.Nancy Becher dreams of a world that runs on the vibrancy of thousands of small businesses, all working together, making money and living in great supportive communities. As a journalist and business consultant for more than 30 years, she has worked with hundreds of companies, large and small (throughout the United States and internationally), helping them create strategies and processes that are built to give them more revenues, less stress and raving fans. While knowing that starting and growing a business is hard work, she also believes that there needs to be fun involved and her approach to helping others is to share with them the concept of not waiting “till pigs fly” to get out there and get started. Her first book “Baby Steps to Starting (and Running) Your Own Business” will be published in 2018. Practical tips and techniques can be found on her website at www.nancybecherbiz.com.

“Do not confuse good tactics with good luck.” -- unknownHave you ever gotten into your car and thought let’s go, without having the first idea of where that “go” was? Generally, when you go for a drive you have at least an idea of where you are headed. And certainly, if you’re setting out on a vacation, you have a plan. You know you want to go from Point A to Point B. Let’s say, Michigan to Maine. But how do you get there? Again, you just don’t turn on the car and say – GO. You have GPS, a map, directions of some sort. If you’re like me, you’ll want to take that further. You’ll want to know # of miles, where to stop for the night? Are there sightseeing places you should stop at along the way? How much money do you need to take for gas, food, housing, etc.? This is a plan, a strategy – something to make sure that your vacation will give you what you want. A good time. The same is true for your business. You shouldn’t just start a business and say, “Ok. “There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.” -Sam WaltonIf you’re used to org charts of business with the owners at the top and building down with employees till you reach the bottom where the customers reside, think again. The customers are, or should be, at the top of the chart. Each piece of the design should be geared to focus on those people who pay the bills and keep the company in business – the customers. Ep 038 with Andy Medlam Business Can be Successful

Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. Napoleon HillToday’s podcast is a bit off the beaten track – I’m away for a couple of weeks thanks to the skills of my foot surgeon who has chained me to my bed with no walking for a couple of weeks. Therefore, I reached out to a great friend of mine, Andy Medlam, who is a brilliant business coach and adviser to step in and share his thoughts on business growth. I love his description of himself – he is very down to earth and kind. Here is what his website says about himself: I’m just a regular a guy as you would ever meet, just with a huge passion to make the best possible life for me and those around me. I have a beautiful partner, Michelle, and we live together in Doncaster. We are fortunate enough to have discovered this opportunity and I can honestly say that it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! To be honest one of the best things about this business is I have made some amazing friends and really enj...

Ep 037 The Wizard of Oz and Business with ME

"You have plenty of courage, I am sure," answered Oz. "All you need is confidence in yourself."I have grown up with the Wizard of Oz. I can recite most of the words verbatim. Each one of the characters resonates with me – maybe perhaps the most is the Wizard himself. As a business strategist I am supposed to have the answers to all the questions. Yet, I’m not sure how to get myself where I want to go. I question my choices (at times) and wonder where’s “MY” wizard? Like Dorothy, I know there’s no place like home, but I still want to see what’s over the rainbow. How can I make my business and my life better? Where do I go where there’s no darkness and I can be part of a life where there are horses of a different color? While the Wizard of Oz is renowned as a child’s story of the ages, it also has a lot of underlying meanings, often discussed and argued over by economists, historians and just plain readers. For me, I think there are definitely a lot of parallels between the mo...
