Get it whacked: Macc CC - Episode 24

Today's guest is one of our more recent additions to Macclesfield cricket club. A man of agriculture, he announced his arrival at Macc with a bang in his very first game. Often maligned and derided for his sleeping habits, he also has some unfinished business with another of our farming cricketers. It’s the minister of milk, the bully of beef, the captain of the cows, Mr. Tom Radley. Enjoy. Thanks you for your continued support of the podcast. Get it whacked! Macc CC - Episode 23

Today, we welcome yet another member of the Moores cricketing family dynasty. A former 2nd team captain, he is held in high regard for not only his sledging, but for his trademark shot, which he once famously ignored Khalid Sawas over and won a game for the 1st team with it anyway. He’s a part time cricketer and a full time sweeper, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Andrew Moores. Enjoy.

Today, we welcome the first of our 'external' guests to the podcast. This man is a former professional cricketer with Middlesex. He has played a lot of cricket, both in England and Australia, and has gone on to develop a reputation as a forward thinking coach, along side developing his brand, Cricket Mentoring. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Tom Scollay.

Today's guest is the next Aussie in our series of former over seas pros. A self confessed owner of several dodgy hair styles, he lit up the Cheshire County Cricket league after a somewhat auspicious start! After his time at Macc, he went on to a professional contract with Tasmania and has played in several seasons of the Big Bash League. It's Mr. Evan Gulbis. Enjoy

Today's guest is anotherformer first team captain. He grew up playing his cricket at Parkside, before making the move over to Macclesfield. Infamous for some of his antics off the field as well as on it, he moved away from Macclesfield 7 years ago, but is never too far away from Macc in spirit. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Ben Morrison.

Today's guest was the overseas player for Macclesfield during the most successful 2 years of the clubs history. Having helped the club win both the league and cup double in successive seasons, he went on to have storied career as a professional in Australia, culminating in his call up to the Australian national side during the 1997 ashes tour of England. Since then, he has established himself as a coach with various teams and franchises around the world. Widely regarded as one of the foremost glovemen of his generation, and described by his great mate, Shane Warne, as probably the best wicket keeper up to the stumps that I’ve ever seen in my time, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Darren Berry.
