Pretty much all his life, BIll Watterson knew he wanted to be a cartoonist. But success did not come easily. He was fired from his first job and had to move in with his parents. He then faced years of rejection. But he didn’t lose faith and tried to learn from each rejection, which eventually led him to create the most beloved comic strip of all time.
